Very good image publication, shame that it is not in English. Nonetheless, some images I see for a first time. I indeed wish that there would be English explonation. The book is relatively thick, covering all of aspects of uniforms from the early (1870's) period to the modern days, from military to the chef. Also there are set of old and new military rank insignias, as well as Tokyo's and National police rank insignias... Other than that not a bad book, however, I am a military uniforms buff, therefore, big part of the book's content is not for me.
