Yup! After reading Resisting Mateo, I have completely lost my mind, lost my heart, lost my everything.
God, I loved this book. Seriously, I don’t think it can get any better than this.
I’m obviously not going to say a single word about the plot or what’s happening because that would ruin it all for you. Not even Sam wants to reveal anything, by not making a real blurb. But this is not a book you want to miss if you have read the previous books.

But let me just rave on about the depth of the characters and how brilliant Sam Mariano’s writing is.
I felt it all. Every tear, all the pain, anger, lost trust. All the lust, desire, love, and passion.
Sam Mariano takes it all to another level, and she blew me away by once again giving us an insight into her character’s twisted minds. She reveals something new with every book, and she makes me love them all with an intensity that’s hard for me to describe. And we all know if a reviewer is lost for words, there’s something cooking.

Mateo is….Mateo is a monster, but it’s impossible for me not to love him. In Resisting Mateo Sam shows us a side of him that makes me love him even more. He is starting to shed his monster costume slowly, and every little bit he reveals of himself makes me want to marry him.

I thank the day Sam Mariano wrote to me and asked me to review her new book Accidental Witness, the first book in her Morelli Family series. I have been hooked ever since, and I have watched how she and her characters grow like a beanstalk on its way up into the clouds. And believe me, I’m on my way up that beanstalk right in the heels of Sam Mariano. Fangirl down!!!

Omg! I could not put this book down literally lost sleep while reading this book. I almost cried at one point. I felt Mia's pain and all her other emotions!!! Oh how the author can write!!! This has to be my favorite book so far it was heartbreaking I loved every minute of it!! Mateo and Mia have such great chemistry and scenes. I honestly don't care for Meg. I'm not into the whole sister wives I think that's very weird but the story so good you just can't stop and question all your morals!
Holy Hell. I don't even know how to capture, in words, all the feelings I felt while reading this book. Sam Mariano has managed to create an entire world for the Morelli Family, and make it utterly addicting. I'm officially obsessed! Sign me up for the #MorelliMafia!

We thought Mateo was bad in Accidental Witness, but in Resisting Mateo it was like Mateo had an entire amusement park at his disposal and he made sure the only ride we could go on was the biggest, wildest roller coaster in his park.

This book had me yelling and cursing at the characters wishing the torture would end, but at the same time I craved more. I read it from start to finish in one sitting and then for hours afterward all Incould think about was this book and the characters in it.

And the sex scenes were so hot. I can take or leave sex scenes in books these days, but I read all the words, in every scene, in book 5.

Waiting for the next book in the series feels like emotional torture. I hope this series never ends!
Sam Mariano's Warning to Readers should be YOU CAN'T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. I *DARE* YOU TO TRY THOUGH.
I skipped work to read this story.
This is not a course I would recommend I'm simply pointing out that you'll want to schedule yourself enough time to read this in a single setting because putting it down once you start is not an option.
As Mariano loves to do this book takes off right out of the gate and doesn't let you go. You DO NOT want to read reviews that spoil it - NO NO NO - just go in, get ready to have an emotionally-wrecking time (who said reading isn't fun!??!) and you'll love it =D

Points, so many, many points they can't be counted for managing to slam out all the... FEELINGS. It made me FEEL. Alllll over the freaking board. Oh! I cried and gasped and LOVED IT.
Not for the HEA or the faint of heart. Mateo and Mia happen in this book. This book has been a long time coming and if you read all the books in order then you would understand this series. I do agree Sam M. could have skipped over the whole side plot of Meg...but that is for future references. Stick with the series unless you're a big Meg fan I doubt this book makes everyone happy it bares a striking resemblance to a lot of first marriages. Mateo and Mia finally confront there feeling for each other. But the future books are interesting reads so stay tuned. Lots of heartbreak and heartache in this series but I stuck with my gut instinct and I'm glad i finished the whole series... I didn't see a clear path for Meg and Mateo and this explains a lot of the back story. Wicked story can't wait to read her other books.
I will say out of all the books in this series, this was my lease favorite. I despise Mia and Mateo. I love Meg. I love the way she holds her emotions in. I love the way that she does not act like a spoiled princess. I love how she loves her kids!! She does whatever Mateo asks without question. I hate the woe is me with Mia. I know I am in the minority being TeamMeg, but that will never change. I think the love/hate relationship with Mateo has turned to strictly hate. That being said, I have never been so emotionally involved in a series like I have with this one. I have laughed, cried (very hard), had to turn on a fan because of the sexiness, and wanted to flat out throat punch Mateo. That is an amazing author who can bring out all of those emotions in one series. Sam Mariano I cannot say enough about your talent!! Not sure if I will survive Book 6, but I am not a quitter. I am TeamMeg all the way!!!
